Canada College of Education (CCE)
International Students
Canada College of Education welcomes international students who wish to study English as a Second Language (ESL) or French as a Second Language (FSL). Our class sizes are small (a maximum of 8 students), so that students have more opportunities to interact with their teachers and classmates. CCE prides itself in offering a high quality of education at low fees. All of our instructors are certified, and they are native speakers of the language that they teach.
What steps do I need to take to apply for ESL or FSL at CCE?
The procedure is very easy. You do not need an agent. It is certainly less expensive and more cost effective to apply independently.
1. Email a copy of the first page of your passport to CCE along with your name, address, telephone number, email address and program of study. Please indicate if you wish to study full- or part time, and the duration of your studies. (study@ccet.ca).
2. Deposit sufficient funds to cover the required fees for six months (26 weeks) or 1 year of full-time studies, plus a $200 non-refundable application fee to CCE.
3. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a “Letter of Admission.” You can then apply for a visa or study permit through the Canadian embassy in your country. For a list of visa offices, please see the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
If you are from a country whose citizens do not require a visa or study permit, you can simply travel to Canada for a maximum stay of 6 months.
Please refer to the website of Citizenship and Immigration Canada for more information about studying in Canada, and requirements for visas and study permits.
